Before you arrive
Bring a list of current medications, relevant health conditions, prior injuries, and any imaging or records the office asks you to provide. Wear clothing that allows comfortable movement.
Be ready to describe the pattern
Think about when symptoms began, what makes them better or worse, whether they travel into an arm or leg, and which activities are affected.
Questions worth asking
- What did the evaluation show?
- Are there reasons I should see another type of provider?
- What is the goal of the recommended plan?
- How and when will progress be reassessed?
Remember
An educational checklist cannot determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate for you. A clinician must consider your individual history and examination.
